Pick-up Family Ultimate Frisbee--we had so much fun during the Lincoln Hill Country Holiday ultimate game, that we are going to try to see if this can become a weekly family event. Location: Lincoln Sports Field behind the Lincoln Fire Station, 3pm-4:30pm Sundays. No prior experience necessary, kids are welcome. Normally ultimate frisbee is played with 7 players/team, but we managed with quite a few more than that. Our family friendly rule was that no point could be scored until an elementary school-aged child had been involved in the play by either initiating or receiving a pass. We're hoping for a mix of skilled players and beginners. It was amazing to see the improvements made by beginners as they caught on to how the game works. Bring a light and dark shirt to wear, to assist with team identification, and a disc if you have one. Call Sally Ober, 453-5220 if you have questions.
