Live Big Band Dance This Saturday!

How often do you get to dance on a magnificent wood dance floor to a live, swingin' big band? This Saturday, Dec. 12, is a great opportunity to put on your dancing shoes and dance to both swing music and a variety of ballroom dance tunes by the "LC (LIttle City) Jazz Band" at the Elley Long Center in Colchester. If you're a beginner, they will teach you enough to get you started! Beginner East Coast Swing mini lesson from 7:00-7:30, followed by a beginner Lindy Hop Lesson from 7:30-8:30. The big band starts belting out dance tunes at 8:30pm and the dancing continues until 11:00pm. No partner necessary and all ages and abilities are very welcome! You may be surprised at how much fun you'll have and how addicting dancing can be! This special event is co-sponsored by Vermont Swings and USA Dance Green Mountain Chapter.
