Relax, Renew and Awaken - Mindfulness Meditation Retreat

This retreat is an opportunity to settle in---to let your mind rest and recover from the demands of the holiday season, and the expectations we place on ourselves.

Winter’s timing is slow---its presence is penetrating, and its effect can be healing and rejuvenating. Knowing that the way we feel about ourselves determines the content of our thoughts, we can observe when our mind has been “hijacked” into thought patterns that actually diminish the quality and brilliance of our experience. Through simple mindfulness meditation, contemplation, and camaraderie, mind can heal itself.

Come step out of the habitual patterns of daily life for a spacious post-holiday experience. Meet other participants over tasty. Join in all or part of the scheduled activities: meditation (with instruction), conversation and contemplation, yoga, massage, hiking, local excursions, and evening activities.

Contemplative scholarships available for educators and M.Ed. students.
