Saturday, Dec. 5, Valley Stage Productions will present a special production of Tony Trischka's "Glory Shone Around" at the Haybarn Theater (123 Pitkin Rd., Plainfield, VT) on the campus of Goddard College in Plainfield. Show starts at 8:00 p.m. Doors are at 7:30. It will be the only presentation of this program in Vermont

Drawn from his critically acclaimed Rounder Records release Glory Shone Around, Tony turns his considerable melodic inventiveness loose on Bluegrass and Americana music for the holidays.

This performance expands on Tony’s repertoire to include new music and arrangements from his 2014 album "Of A Winter’s Night", which was recorded, live at Levon Helm’s Barn, Woodstock, NY. A diverse, highly textural seasonal collection and truly a sumptuous feast for the ears presented as only Tony Trischka can.
