To help raise funds for our winter programming, the students and staff of LiHigh School are hosting a Holiday Movie Extravaganza at the Poultney Small Business Center (across from the Poultney Library).
At 3pm, we'll be showing a double feature of two holiday classics for children. The first stars a green and grumpy creature who just can't stand Christmas, and the second stars a little boy and his famous pet beagle as they discover the true meaning of Christmas.
At 4pm, we'll show a computer animated movie about a doubting young boy who takes an extraordinary train ride to the North Pole.
At 7pm (after Santa comes to Poultney for a parade to the town hall), we'll show a movie more suited for teenagers and adults that tells nine intertwined stories examining the complexities of the one emotion that actually connects us all: love.
The movies are free, though donations to the school are encouraged! Popcorn, refreshments, and drinks will be sold on site, but feel free to bring your own as well.
We hope to see you there!
