Celebrate a Traditional Buddhist Holiday Dec. 4

You're invited to celebrate Lama Tsongkhapa Day this Friday evening at Milarepa Center!

Lama Tsongkhapa is the founder of the style of Buddhism His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Milarepa Center practice. This is often known as the Festival of Lights.

Dinner at Milarepa Center: 6:00 p.m. $8 (if you plan to come for dinner, please RSVP to Milarepa@MilarepaCenter.org by Thursday, December 3 at noon with your dietary preference/restriction, so we can accommodate you)

Light Offering: 6:30 p.m. Suggested $1 per tea light, or bring your own lights. Make a wish or a prayer for yourself, a loved one, and/or the world.

Milarepa Puja: 7:00 p.m. Free. Pujas are prayer circles done with friends, family, and neighbors. This puja is specific to Saint Milarepa. If you are inspired, food or flower offerings are welcome.

We hope you can come for one, two, or all thee of these fun activities at Milarepa Center this Friday.

You do not need to be Buddhist to participate. Everyone is welcome!
