We have a super fun Friday night for you at the ONE Arts Center this week! Join us 7-9pm for Prints and Pints, where you can sip while you free style with ink, paper, brayer, and all sorts of textures - we're making gelatin prints! What are gelatin prints? Well, since you asked, gelatin prints are fun, fast paced, and spontaneous - no previous art experience needed! This is an easy, playful process that everyone will enjoy! Each participant gets a slab of firm gelatin that serves as a printing plate. Prints are made by layering up different textures and patterns, with different colored translucent and opaque inks. It’s pure aesthetic experimental joy! Most people leave with 10-15 original prints. You can also turn them in to holiday cards! Taught by legendary local artist Lyna Lou Nordstrom.
