DECEMBER 6th 7 PM WORKSHOP READING OF "m or f?"

Last January, Vermont Pride Theater at Chandler presented the world premier stage adaptation of the popular young-adult novel "m or f?" by Lisa Papademetriou and Chris Tebbetts. The intergenerational play and novel deal with the search for love in the internet age, no matter how old a person may be.

After the performance, Mr. Tebbetts led a talkback in which many suggestions for improving the script were made. Playwright Gene Heinrich has revised the script accordingly, and a workshop reading will be held on Sunday December 6th at 7 PM, in Chandler's Upper Gallery. Its purpose is to get feedback as to whether the script is ready to offer to high schools in the area.

This will be an informal and fun event, again directed by Cher Laston and with the same actors who in January created memorable "m or f?" roles reprising these. They'll be seated at tables in the center, with audience members grouped around them, and Ms. Laston and Mr. Heinrich will lead a talkback after the reading.

There's no charge to attend, and homemade treats will be available between the reading and the talkback.

Please come with your friends and families, as having a large audience will be helpful. Diverse feedback is needed to create a script that high schools can use to spread the inclusive and important m or f? message.
