Preserving the Past Through Photographs

Past event
Dec 10, 2015, 7 to 9 PM

On Thursday, December 10 at 7:00 pm local residents Dorothy Tod and Rita Goss will give a presentation about local community history and how to keep its memories alive through the preservation of old photographs.
Soon after Dorothy Tod moved to Warren in 1970, she embarked on a project to create note cards using old photos to raise money for a Planning Commission project. This work evolved into the beautifully framed images that now hang in the Town Hall and the Library. More recently Rita Goss has been working on this with Dorothy. Come hear Dorothy and Rita discuss this fascinating and engrossing project and learn how you can preserve your photographic memories too.
