The Crescendo Club has lots to celebrate this year at our annual Harvest Dinner! The Club is 115 years old and our library building is now 75. Both are still going strong! To commemorate these milestones, we have some special events scheduled for our Harvest Dinner.

This year, we will celebrate our first five Crescendo Club members whose names will be placed on our Wall of Honor. Each of these women were instrumental in promoting life-long learning through the library. They are:
* Jane K. Corse
* Alison Earle
* Winona Noble
* Liz Snell, and
* Sally Vautour

Please join us on Thursday, October 17 at Smugglers Notch Resort. The social hour begins at 5:30 with dinner at 6:30. Tickets are $30 per person.

There is also the opportunity to win a variety of raffle prizes, including 100 gallons of heating oil donated by Jack F. Corse, two Arbortrek obstacle course passes, two $100 gift cards from Maplefields, gifts from Sumgglers' Notch Distillery, a $50 gift certificate to the Family Table plus jewelry from the Ornament Studio plus a Vermont Basket from Armstrong Valley Farm, a Bash Badge from Smuggs, an Eric Tobin print donated by Visions of Vermont, and a House of Troy lamp donated by the House of Troy. Tickets are $2 each or 6 for $10.
