The Smugglers' Notch team for Special Olympics Vermont is busy preparing for the upcoming ski/ride season. Training starts right after the holidays culminating with the Winter Games March 5-6, 2016 at Suicide Six in Pomfret, Vermont. We are currently actively fundraising to support participation in training and the Winter Games for all athletes. Our team this year has 16 athletes! On December 12th, the team is hosting a "Dinner for Champions" at the Hearth and Candle Restaurant from 5:00-9:30pm. Akash Parikh has generously offered to contribute a portion of the restaurant's receipts from dinner that evening to the team's fundraising efforts. Reservations are strongly encouraged - please call the Hearth and Candle directly at 802-644-8090. The restaurant is located in the Smugglers' Notch Resort main village area.
