Friday Food Affair Planning Meeting Dec. 7

Past event
Dec 7, 2015, 7 to 8:30 PM

• Perhaps you've attended a Friday Food Affair or cooked at a meal in the past…
• Perhaps you have a passion for food and want to share your gifts with the broader community…
• Perhaps you happen to really like setting up tables, making phone calls or washing dishes…
• Perhaps you’ve driven through Richmond Village on a Friday night and wondered what all of the excitement was…
• Perhaps you are new to the community and looking for a way to help others and make connections…

If any of these sounds like you, then consider yourself invited to a Leadership Planning Meeting for Friday Food Affair on Monday, December 7th at 7:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall at Richmond Congregational Church, 20 Church Street (parking at the Town Center lot).

FFA is in its fifth year and it needs new infusion of volunteer leaders now more than ever. FFA is an entirely community based volunteer effort. It needs people to help serve in a variety of capacities including cooking, set up, clean up, and volunteer coordination. In addition to the weekly preparation, FFA is hoping to form a leadership team to coordinate and recruit volunteer groups, serve as a point person for meals (perhaps on a monthly or rotating basis), oversee logistics and do long range planning.
Come join us on December 7 to learn more and add your voice to the conversation. Also consider stopping by tonight for some tacos cooked by the MMU Honors Society!
More information, volunteer job descriptions, and videos are on the FFA website: www.fridayfoodaffair.org
