Hear ye, hear ye! Come ye to the Farmers Market this Sunday, 22nd November, to round out your Thanksgiving day table.
Fresh spinach, herbs (basil, sage, rosemary, thyme), root veggies, farm-raised chicken and pork, and…wait for it…homemade blueberry ice cream and a palate-cleansing lemon basil sorbet.
Speaking of basil, for those pesto making aficionados, fresh basil (with roots on mostly) will be available at an end-of-season price. Transplanting this basil might even take you through the winter.
Already set for Thanksgiving? Come to this Sunday’s market and shop the crafts while enjoying fresh cake donuts, mulled cider, and the Vermont Fiddlers orchestra.
Sunday, 11 a.m. at Plumley Armory on the corner of Main and Central St.
And remember, The Northfield Farmers Market now accepts debit cards (Not credit cards yet) and SNAP/EBT cards as well.
