Past event
Nov 18, 2015, 6:30 to 8 PM

Join ACORN, the Addison County Relocalization Network, as we celebrate our 10th anniversary!

When: TOMORROW, Wednesday, November 18th from 6:30 PM-8:00 PM
Where: American Flatbread in Middlebury’s Marble Works
What: ACORN will showcase its food advocacy work over the last decade while also looking to what is planned for 2016. Molly Anderson, the new Professor of Food Studies at Middlebury College, will present the keynote and speak about how we can work together to build a better food system. Molly was the Founding Director of the Agriculture, Food and Environment Program at Tufts University and one of the co-authors of the New England Food Vision which calls for our region to build the capacity to produce at least 50% of clean, fair, just and accessible food for all New Englanders by 2060.

We invite all community stakeholders who are passionate about the Southern Champlain Valley’s local food culture and economy to join us at ACORN’s Annual Meeting. Light appetizers will be provided and a cash bar will feature discounts on local brews and ciders. All-natural flatbread pizzas featuring Addison County ingredients will be available for purchase.

We hope to see you tomorrow night!
