BRANDON CARES, together with THE TURNING POINT OF ADDISON COUNTY, is offering FREE training and distribution of NARCAN on WED, NOV 18TH, from 6:30-7:30 p.m., at the Stephen Douglas House, 4 Grove St., Brandon, Vt.

NARCAN saves lives. NARCAN is a naltrexone nasal spray that can reverse the effects of an opiate overdose. It blocks the effects of opiates, detoxing the body, but has no effect on other conditions that may be present. It can be administered by anyone with just a ten minute training.

If you know someone at risk for opiate overdose, a family member, friend, or neighbor, having NARCAN available in the critical first moments of an overdose can mean the difference between life and death.
