The 10 women who make up the Choromondo Touring Ensemble will be singing a benefit concert to raise funds for Child Haven International. A registered charity founded in 1985 that assists children and women in developing countries who are in need of food, education, health care, shelter and clothing, emotional and moral support. www.childhaven.ca
Choromondo has been bringing women together from Quebec and Vermont to sing an eclectic mix of traditional world music for over 15 years and is directed by Quebec artist and musician Allyna Harris. Their colorful attire and enthusiasm for this music make their performances a pleasure for all.
