On Friday the 24th, the First Congregational Church in downtown Burlington is hosting a Chicken and Biscuit Harvest Dinner. For only $10.00, you can have a complete dinner consisting of Chicken, biscuits, gravy, mashed potatoes, squash, cole slaw, cranberry sauce, a beverage and a choice of home made pies. Eat all you want! Children under 12 may eat for $5.00. A family of four or more is only $30.00. Starting at 4:00 p.m., our Annual Harvest Bazaar opens for a choice selection of foods, crafts, books, treasures, jewelry, collectibles and many other items at reasonable prices. Saturday from 9:00 to 3:00, we open our chapel for a great bazaar. At 11:30, we have a an excellent luncheon with soups, sandwiches, beverages, desserts, and a mini chicken and biscuit dinner at $7.00. All proceeds fund local missions, scholarships, and needs.
