On Monday December 7th, Richmond Rescue will host a free community discussion about end-of-life planning and care. The dying process can be full of difficult decisions during a sensitive time. Have you thought about what might be important to you or your loved ones when the time comes?
The event is organized by the Family Medicine Student Interest Group at the UVM College of Medicine, and will include speakers from the Vermont Ethics Network, Richmond Rescue, and primary care medical practices.
We'll discuss how to identify personal goals in end-of-life planning, Do Not Resuscitate orders (DNRs), Clinician Orders for Life Sustaining Treatment (COLSTs), Advance Directives, and other relevant topics. Educational resources will be available to attendees, and questions are welcome!
When: Monday, December 7th, 6:15pm - 7:45pm
Where: Richmond Rescue, 216 Bridge St., Richmond
