Hour for Our Community is a membership organization that facilitates the exchanges of services among the members without the exchange of money. An hour of service to any member earns a time-credit that can be used to receive an hour of service from any member. If you want to learn more about the organization that has already exchanged over a 1,000 hours of service locally, come to the Bennington Free Library this Saturday November 14, from 10:30 to noon.

There will be a brief overview of the organization, an explanation of the rights and responsibility of members, followed by a demonstration of the software used to post what members are willing to offer as services or are requesting. Little refreshments will be served. At the end of the meeting, those interested in joining will have an opportunity to do so.
