Lakota Films, LLC and No Strings Marionette Company have teamed up with an amazing cast and crew to produce a film titled, “The Greatest Show On Earth”.
In it a puppeteer, struggling to resist authority, creates a puppet in the image of the president for his greatest performance to date. The audience for the show will be comprised entirely of puppets! This is where you come in.
On Sunday, November 22 we will film the audience scene in the auditorium at Union Elementary School, 1 Park Place, in Montpelier Vermont. Call time for puppeteers is 10 a.m., and ideally we will wrap shooting by 12 noon.
Puppeteer duties will involve watching the show and offering puppet applause.
If you have made a puppet during a No Strings Marionette Company residency, this is a chance to bring your creation to life again, this time on the big screen!
This is a volunteer opportunity, and you will be listed as a Puppeteer Extra on the film credits.
We welcome any type of puppet for use in the audience scene.
If you do not have your own puppet, please RSVP so we can arrange to bring one for you to use during the shoot.
