Please come to the Maple Corner Community Center 11/15 for a 5:30 Potluck and an opportunity to learn about Planting Hope! Beth Merrill, Planting Hope's founder, and Yasser Hernandez Perez who is Planting Hope's volunteer and delegation coordinator in Nicaragua will share information about Planting Hope and their service learning trips to Nicaragua. Yasser is also a wonderful leader, teacher, and dancer and will share some of his culture and even lead us in some salsa dancing.

Planting Hope is a non-profit based in Montpelier and depends on donations in order to pay their hardworking staff in Nicaragua, provide scholarships for Nicaraguan high school student interns, and to put books in the hands of children who have no access to reading materials.
