There are still a few openings left to sign-up for this Friday's program at the Waterbury Library, "Dig, Hole and Burrow" with Kurt Valenta, aka "Mr. K", at 10 AM.
Marvel at the many ways animals are designed to dig - whether for food, to build brood incubators or to construct homes. We will experiment with “tools” to simulate digging techniques and see how they might allow us to tunnel, burrow and make holes like animals do. This program is suitable for ages 3 to 6 years.
Anyone who's been to any of Mr. K.'s other programs here can attest to his engaging, witty style which makes learning fun!
Please call the Library at 244-7036 for more information and to register.
