The New Haven River Anglers Association is proud to present a very Special Guest Speaker, George Daniel. George is the former Captain of the United States Fly Fishing team and coach for the United States youth Fly Fishing Team. George is the author of the heralded book, "Dynamic Nymphing", and the soon to be released "Strip Set".

The event is FREE to the Public. The event will be hosted at the Kirk Alumni Center at Middlebury College. The meeting starts at 6:30PM and George's presentation starts at 7PM.

Join us for his presentation Nymphing 2.0. Nymphing 2.0 is an updated version of the nymphing principals discussed in George’s Book, “Dynamic Nymphing.” The focus of the program is fishing without a suspension device (aka indicator). Like all other tactics, tight line nymphing has its advantages/disadvantages and nymphing 2.0 describes the conditions suited for this technique versus conditions more suited towards suspension tactics. Understand hydraulics, casting, presentation, patterns, and rigs are covered during this program.

This will also be an opportunity to talk to George about his NEW book "Strip Set" and maybe get your copy signed.
