CANAAN, VERMONT

A Community Invites you to Give Thanks in a Sisterly Way.

For their entire lifetimes the 5 Jackson sisters helped their mom with the church suppers that were served decade after decade at historic Grace Church in Canaan. The sisters are gathering again Saturday evening Nov. 14th to cook and share their family recipes at an early Feast of Thanks and they have invited the entire community to share in their family efforts.

As people all over the North Country begin planning how they will celebrate American Thanksgiving the community is invited to give Thanks early with their neighbors sitting around the same tables just as early Pilgrim settlers did in Plymouth, Mass hundreds of years ago when strangers became life long friends and neighbors.

The menu includes all of the New England traditions such as roast turkey, dressing, cranberries and roasted vegetables. All capped off with desserts that are the favorites of the five sisters.

The supper will be served in the 141 year old Community Hall of the independent and non-denominational Grace Community Church. There will be two seatings; 4:30 & 6 pm. Entire families are welcome (tables of 8, 10 and 12 chairs are available) and kids eat for just $1. Additional updated information is available on Facebook GraceCommunityChurchVT and at TheGraceCommunityChurch.com
