This event starts with a special Story Time at the Poultney Public Library on Saturday, December 5 from 6-6:30pm. At 6:30 Santa will arrive in front of the library atop a Poultney Fire Department truck to lead the children down the street to the Town Office. There Santa will visit with the children and volunteers from the library and the Poultney United Methodist Church will hand out cocoa (provided by PUMC) and cookies. After a dedication by Father Daniel Jordan from St. Raphael's Catholic Church, Santa will light the tree.
