Community Invitation... LINCOLN COMMUNITY ADVENT (the season leading to Christmas!) EVENT

Remember when the children of Lincoln eagerly awaited the Library Ornament and Craft making right after Thanksgiving?

Do you wonder what happens that sets off the tree lighting next to the United Church each December?

Advent is a season of WONDER. The United Church of Lincoln will be hosting a combined ornament making (think small children and glue, candles, lots of adult help) with our traditional opportunity to craft annual advent wreaths, gather by the tree at dark, and launch the season together.

Please feel invited to be a part of this community gathering on Sunday, November 29, 2015. We will begin with the ornaments and wreaths at 5pm downstairs at the church, take a little time for a simple soup and bread meal, then step outside to sing Christmas Carols and light the tree for the first night of the season.
