November 5 Winter Farmers Market 4 - 7:30
The Jericho Farmers Market’s Winter Market Season continues this THURSDAY, the 5th of November!.
Please join us for our second market of the winter season - and if you enjoy having these winter markets, please spread the word. The winter markets are still an experiment for JFM and we need to have a good turn out to make it worthwhile for our vendors.
(Please note the time change from the summer markets: 4:00-7:30).
We’ll have 4 more winter markets on First and Third Thursdays through December:
November 5
November 19 - Our Thanksgiving market - plan to buy for your dinner and/or maybe hostess gifts?
December 3
December 17 - Our holiday season market. Last chance for this year - many of our regular craft vendors plan to make an appearance this week.
The market is held at the UU Fellowship Barn, on the corner of Rt 15 and Raceway Rd (just before the Merchants bank) #195 Rt 15 - the entrance is almost across from the end of Packard Road

NAMA Farm - .We’ve been keeping everything under cover and nursing it along for you!
Veggies: winter squash, hot peppers potatoes and fingerlings Tomatillos, kale, baby kale, rainbow chard, salad mix, lovely garlic, beets and beet greens. AND lots of canned goods for you to try - new jams and chutneys AND EGGS!
The Farm at VYCC -
will be bringing frozen Chicken (whole), eggs, storage veggies, and new potatoes, onions, garlic, cabbage and other just harvested veggies. (SEE note below about preordering a fall share for delivery on the 5th!)
Mediterranean Mix
(formerly Euro Restaurant) - with their usual array of hot food - MOUSAKA spanikopta eggplant parmesan lasagna stuffed cabbage stuffed red peppers pita bread BUREK SAMOSA baklava salads Dolmas Carmel apple strudel saffron rice roasted Mediterranean chicken.
Home Farm - Beef - Janet and Perry are hoping to be at the market with their home grown beef! There is some question as to whether it will be ready or not… so check our FaceBook page tomorrow morning for the latest if that is the only thing you were coming for.

The Farm at VYCC is selling their Fall Share at this week’s winter market! A Fall share is a one time pick up of your favorite fall vegetables including: assorted potatoes, carrots, beets, winter squash (acorn, butternut, delicata), onions, shallots, leeks, garlic, napa cabbage, kale, parsley, celeriac, parsnips, purple turnips, watermelon radish, and other autumn favorites! Remember, we are certified organic and all proceeds go towards building Holiday Harvest Baskets for hungry Vermont families who cannot afford to buy healthy produce this Holiday season.
Fall Share Options:
Full Share (50 pounds of produce)- $90
Full Share plus pasture raised chicken ($18-$24 value)- $100
Half Share (25 pounds) -$45
Half Share plus pasture raised chicken- $60
Folks who purchase a Fall Share, will also receive a discount on our eggs! Just $4 a dozen for local, free range eggs!
