Shelburne Vineyard's monthly First Thursday Concert Series continues this month with an artist new to the series: Yasmin Tayeby, an Egyptian/American singer, songwriter and musical entrepreneur with a state of the art recording studio in Williston brings her acoustic/pop music to the Vineyard’s Loft on Nov. 5 at 6 PM.
A songwriter who likes her pieces to tell a story people can really connect with, Tayeby has performed widely at events as far-flung as a Birthday celebration for Congressman Peter Welch and concerts in her childhood home Egypt. Southern Smoke BBQ will be on site selling supper specialties and Shelbunre Vineyard Wine and Fiddlehead will be for sale by the glass. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society. Admission is free and all are welcome, so bring the family and friends and settle in with supper in the loft or gather round the bar in the Tasting Room to listen and enjoy another Thursday night at the Vineyard.
And, don't forget other Vineyard events coming up this month like our Food and Wine Festival and Foodshelf Benefit on Saturday, Nov. 5 and our Open Mic Wine and Story night on Nov. 17.11-5 with 14 local producers here to woo your tastebuds while you support the Foodshelf with donations of non-perishable food items.
