Free screening of How to Die in Oregon where filmmaker Peter Richardson gently enters the lives of the terminally ill as they consider whether – and when – to end their lives by lethal overdose. Richardson examines both sides of this complex, emotionally charged issue. What emerges is a life-affirming, staggeringly powerful portrait of what it means to die with dignity.
Monday, November 16, 6:30-8:30PM (Because the film is long, if viewers are interested in a follow up facilitated dialog or Q&A, the church has generously allowed us to meet again on Monday, November 23 from 6:30-8:30PM.)
