AWARD-WINNING COMEDIC STORYTELLERS DEBUT NEW SHOW
TO BENEFIT THE VERMONT FAMILY NETWORK

Burlington, VT—Award-winning comedic storytellers Kevin Gallagher and Sue Schmidt, joined by guest storyteller Jason Lorber, are back with a new show, “Paved with Good Intentions.”

Kevin Gallagher and Sue Schmidt entertained sold-out houses throughout New England with their 2014 show, “Are We There Yet?” with New Hampshire storyteller and author Cindy Pierce.

This year’s show also promises memorable tales, both funny and powerful, about the trials and tribulations of growing up as a Jew, a Catholic and an Atheist in the 1970s. The eclectic trio will also be joined by “The Brevity Thing,” featuring Dave Ball on guitar, Jom Hammack on mandolin, and Steve Goldman on bass.

Sue Schmidt and Kevin Gallagher are the founders of “Say it Forward Productions,” an organization created to benefit mission-driven nonprofit organizations through laughter and storytelling. Both Gallagher and Schmidt are storyslam winners at The Moth and Extempo VT. Schmidt was named the 2015 New England Public Radio Valley Voices Champion and Gallagher the Most Adorable winner of The Mosquito. Jason Lorber is a “recovering Vermont state legislator” and a fixture in Vermont’s thriving stand-up comedy scene. He is the creator of Moo-Jew Comedy and opened for Joan Rivers in Burlington.

The show is open to the public and benefits the Vermont Family Network, an organization dedicated to the empowerment and support of all Vermont families of children with special needs so that all children reach their potential.

November 5th 6pm - 7pm - Reception with a 7pm show
Main Street Landing Film House
