Colored pencils aren't just for children! Artists worldwide are discovering the joys of working in colored pencil, and colored pencil artworks are now found in some of the finest galleries in the world. Colored pencils in the hands of a skilled artist can produce a variety of different effects; airbrush-style, watercolor-like wash, or an oil painting effect. This class will include advice and discussion of the materials needed and demonstrations of several interesting techniques. Students will be introduced to color theory and will be making their own color wheels. Discover the joys of this versatile medium.
