Halloween at Library in Warren Village

Past event
Oct 31, 2015

The Warren Public Library will be celebrating Halloween on our front steps & porch as we have every year since whenever. This year we will do a reprise of our hugely successful 2014 Halloween hoping to make it a tradition you can count on for many years to come. Children of all ages are welcome. Bring your parents! There will be a fire pit on the black top to provide some warmth & a place to sit & tell scary stories. There will be hot mulled apple cider. Lots of treats in the form of candy & maybe some crisp apples for children who wish to just say no to sugar. Library staff, the board of trustees, friends & volunteers will be on hand to meet & greet one & all. The fire will be going at around 5PM & the festivities will last until the cider & candy run out. Weather forecast is for clear skies with temperatures barely above 40F. Dress warm.

At 8pm, older kids and adults are welcome inside the library for a showing of the movie CORALINE. Based on the book of the same name by Neil Gaiman, CORALINE tells the story of an adventurous girl who finds a secret door to an alternate world that closely mirrors her own but all is not as it seems. CORALINE is rated PG and this showing is recommended for ages 10+. Admission to the movie is FREE.
