Save the date: Saturday September 28th for Hinesburg's 8th annual Fall Festival on the grounds and inside the historic Town Hall, 10:00 - 4:00. The outdoor farmers' market will feature local produce, baked goods and crafts with entertainment for all ages provided by local musicians, a street performer (11:45), and a performance by No Strings Marionettes next door at the Osborne Parish Hall (10:15).
Inside, the Historical Society will present displays on both floors, and the main hall will be transformed into a gallery featuring the work of many local artists. There will be a continuous schedule of musicians performing in the gallery throughout the day.
A Stone Soup Supper will end the day in style, featuring locally sourced foods; soups, salads and desserts prepared by volunteers from the Hinesburg Land Trust to benefit the Hinesburg Food Shelf. Live entertainment will be provided by Dan Silverman, Kobe Gatos, Ed Owens and Todd Watkins. Diners will be seated from 6:00 - 7:30 at the NRG dining room. Dinner reservations are available by calling the Recreation Department (482-4691) or tickets can be purchased at Brown Dog Bookstore. Adults: $10.00, children $5.00 (5 - 12 years), and children under 5 free.
