Harbor Place in Shelburne, formerly an Econolodge, is part of the Champlain Housing Trust that targets job-related, disaster-related or health-related homelessness. It’s a shifting population, always in need of food and other resources. Canned and packaged food that can be prepared in a microwave is helpful anytime. Sunday December 13 I am coordinating a holiday meal with neighbors who wish to help Harbor Place residents. The plan: prepare some part(s) of a holiday meal in your own kitchen, and transport it in a (preferably) disposable or re-useable serving container to Harbor House around 545pm December 13. Staff there have tableware and will set up and monitor a buffet for about 100 people.
