A group of 20 residents from Essex Junction, Essex Town and Westford formed a study committee to look at the merits of if school district consolidation would result in better outcomes and opportunities for students, at a cost that the three communities can afford today and into the future. After dedicating four months to research and in-depth discussions, the study committee unanimously proposed creating a unified school district and bringing this recommendation to the voters.

The vote will take place on Tuesday, November 3 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the following locations:

Essex Junction residents – Essex High School
Essex Town residents – Essex Middle School
Westford residents – Westford School
