This winter, Cabot Community Theater will be hosting an exciting theater improvisation workshop series for all ages! It will take place November through January, meeting most Sundays from 1-3, with a few longer sessions, and culminate with a performance in early February. The Improv Workshop will focus on developing storytelling and spontaneity as tools for actors of all ages to use when performing. Through discussion and lots of fantastic theater games, the workshop will boost confidence and promote teamwork onstage.
People of all ages and levels of experience are welcome to participate in the Workshop: we ask only that you bring a willingness to explore and try new things. Sessions will be held at the Cabot School Performing Arts Center. We hope people will be able to come every week, but it's fine if you have to miss some. As with all CCT activities, the workshop is free of charge. If you're interested in joining us, please get in touch by writing karen@praxisworks.org or calling 793-5617, or just show up to the first workshop on November 1!
