The Montpelier Chamber Orchestra will presents its Fall Program, “Journeys,” with guest conductor Jeffery Domoto on Saturday, November 14 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, November 15 at 4:00 p.m. at the Unitarian Church in Montpelier. The concert features Beethoven’s mirthful Symphony No. 2 in D Major, Mendelssohn’s musical telling of the fairy tale “The Fair Melusine,” and Richard Danielpour’s “Souvenirs, ” a musical portrayal of New York, Kyoto, Paris, New Orleans, and Venice. Tickets will be available at the door for $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, and $10 for students.
The drawing for the MCO’s annual Wine Raffle, a major fundraiser for the orchestra, will be held at the Sunday afternoon performance. Tickets for chances to win two cases of fine wine, an exclusive collector’s bottle, or a basket of assorted gifts, are available for $15 and can be purchased either from the musicians or through Eventbrite on the “Events” page of the website at http://www.montpelierchamberorchestra.org/.
