Hi everyone,
I just read a tiny article in the Rutland Herald (pg.2 Local & State) about Buddhist meditation and social in Plainfield, VT.. Salmon Falls Sangha will host a group sitting and social gathering Saturday for northern Buddhists. I am not a Buddhist per say, but I do believe many of the Buddha's philosophies. They will meet at 10:00 a.m. at the Plainfield Friends Meeting House on Martin Meadows Road. The event starts with a half-hour meditation, there will then be a chance to talk and share a potluck lunch. It is scheduled to last until 1 p.m. After the gathering, those in attendance are invited to an informal tour of the building. This place is almost 2 hours from Tinmouth. I don't think I would want to do this adventure myself. Is there any interest in checking it out. Here is Salmon Falls Sangha:
