The Lake Champlain Waldorf School is hosting an Open House and I wanted to pass on the details to anyone who might be interested. Our family has had a great experience at the school. The teachers truly do focus on educating the "whole child," and I see that the students at every stage are engaged in learning and happy to go to school.

You are welcome to come to the Open House with or without children, and even if you are just curious about Waldorf education!

The Open House will take place Saturday, November 7, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at their Pre-K through 8th grade campus (359 Turtle Lane, Shelburne), nestled in a 22-acre nature preserve. There will be ongoing tours, led by high school students and faculty. Young children can make lanterns and play in the kindergarten, and grade school children can enjoy beeswax sculpting and cord braiding. While you are visiting, we invite you to explore our playgrounds, fields, and forests. A presentation about Waldorf education will take place at 11:00 am. Faculty from the parent and child program, kindergarten, and grade school will be on hand to answer questions.
