In case you did not see the notice, the public hearing on the 2016 budget will be held Thursday, 10/29, at 6 PM at the Town Hall. The preliminary budget that was approved to be presented at the hearing came in well under the mandatory cap of less than 1% increase in spite of the costs of the state retirement system, insurance, highway materials, and other costs we have no control over. The budget officer will be at the meeting to answer any specific questions residents may have.
