Join the Junior League of Champlain Valley on Thursday, November 12, 6:30-8:30pm, at Hotel Vermont for an evening of drinks, hors d'oeuvres, and a silent auction of festive wreaths created by local artists, businesses, and organizations. This year's event features wreaths from Orchard Cove Photography, Play Dog Play Canine Care Center, Stitched, Vermont Creamery, and many more!

The Junior League of Champlain Valley is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
Proceeds from Festival of Wreaths benefit JLCV Community Projects focused on Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention Programming, Ronald McDonald House, Camp Knock Knock, and providing our community with a legacy of trained volunteers. Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death for 15-19 year olds in Vermont and the 3rd leading cause of death for 10-14 year olds. JLCV has championed access to mental health with a focus on suicide awareness. In partnership with Howard Center,we have contributed to printing and distributing nearly 5,000 Chittenden County Youth Suicide Prevention Information Booklets. Distributing these booklets to police departments, libraries and primary care practices is one of the many Community Projects JLCV has spearheaded to achieve positive measurable change in an area of urgent need in our community.
