Flood Meeting Thur. Plainfield Town Hall Opera House

Past event
Oct 29, 2015, 6:30 PM

On Thur. Oct 29th at 6:30PM at the Town Hall Opera House there will be a town-wide discussion about devising specific recommendations about flood remediation measures in the village. EVERYONE IS ENCOURAGED TO COME, ESPECIALLY RESIDENTS AND HOMEOWNERS NEAR THE GREAT BROOK. Plainfield retained the firm of Milone and Macbroom to study the matter. They have presented information regarding their water models. The Oct. 29 meeting delves into the specifics of what action needs to be taken. They will be putting forth some of their recommendations which will be a springboard for a wider dialogue. All options will be DISCUSSED - from closing roads, doing nothing, re-directing traffic, to moving houses near the Great Brook.... We NEED everyone's input in this important conversation.

It would be very helpful to have you at the meeting to express your concerns and express ideas. We want EVERYONES input before we embark on a course of action.

Please mark this date on your calendar. ALSO TELL YOUR NEIGHBORS AS I DON'T HAVE EVERYONE'S EMAIL.
