Lake Champlain Waldorf School is hosting an Open House and I wanted to pass on the details to anyone who might be interested. At LCWS, our talented faculty focus on educating the whole child -- academically, emotionally, spiritually, and physically. At every stage, you will find students that are engaged in learning and are happy to go to school.

The Open House will take place Saturday, November 7, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at their Pre-K through 8th grade campus (359 Turtle Lane, Shelburne), nestled in a 22-acre nature preserve. There will be ongoing tours, led by high school students and faculty. Young children can make lanterns and play in the kindergarten, and grade school children can enjoy beeswax sculpting and cord braiding. A presentation about Waldorf education will take place at 11:00 am. Faculty from the parent and child program, kindergarten, and grade school will be on hand to answer questions.
