Classical pianist, Monica Jakuc Leverett presents ‘Moonlit Hits and Little-known Gems’, a program of all-time classical piano favorites, mixed with beautiful, rare pieces. Ms. Jakuc Leverett will perform Beethoven’s “Moonlight” Sonata, Debussy’s “Clair de lune” and Schubert’s Impromptu in Bb Major, Op. 142, No. 3. Less well-known, but equally stunning, are New England composer Amy Beach’s nature pieces, a group of études for piano by Polish composer Maria Szymanowska, and études by her contemporaries J.B.
