Strategic Planning for College with Dr. Roberta Tansman. This program will examine how to prepare for applying to college from the viewpoint of the college admissions committee. Dr. Roberta Tansman is the former dean at Bowdoin College and Douglass College of Rutgers University. As both a dean at Bowdoin and Douglass and as a history professor at Wellesley College, Dr. Tansman served on the admissions committees of all three colleges. With over ten years experience of reading applications, students' personal essays, guidance counselor and teacher recommendations, Dr. Tansman will suggest how students can chart their course from 9th grade on. She will give general advice and then answer individual questions.
