Vermont poets Poets Julia Shipley & David Weinstock present an evening of poetry, Thursday, October 22, 7 p.m. at The Vermont Book Shop, 38 Main St, Middlebury
Julia Shipley, author of Adam's Mark, named a Best Book of 2014 by the Boston Globe, will read from and sign her new collection, The Academy of Hay, winner of the Melissa Lanitis Gregory Poetry Prize. She lives in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom.
David Weinstock will read from and sign The Amalek Poems, normally only available online at Truck but it will be available to purchase at the reading. He lives, writes and teaches in Middlebury, where he leads the long-running Otter Creek Poets open workshop.
