Gene Logsdon, author of The Contrary Farmer and a host of other books, is 83 years old and has cancer. The end of his life has led him to meditate on on nature, death, and eternity. He has a notion: it is a little easier for gardeners and farmers to accept death than the rest of the populace. We talk about his latest book, Gene Everlasting: A Contrary Farmer's Thoughts on Living Forever.
