Bennington Volunteer Fair
Bennington County Volunteer Recruitment Fair hosted by Green Mountain RSVP, Wed. Oct. 21, 1-4 p.m., at the VT Dept. of Health/CCV building, 324 Main St., Bennington. Explore volunteer opportunities with over 15 Bennington area nonprofits. The fair is free and open to volunteers of all ages. There will be refreshments and door prizes! The following nonprofits will be at the event, come ask questions and get information on how to serve as a volunteer: On Call for Vermont, VNA & Hospice, Head Start, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Seedlings Mentoring, Habitat for Humanity, Southwestern VT Council on Aging, Meals on Wheels, Bennington Free Library, Center for Restorative Justice, VT Veterans Home, Project Against Violent Encounters, American Red Cross, Bennington Arts Guild, AARP Tax Aide, SASH Vermont, Bart Adaptive Sports Center and Bennington Relay for Life.

Green Mountain RSVP is a volunteer recruitment and matching program for volunteers 55+. It is part of the federal Senior Corps program under the Corporation for National and Community Service.
