TURKEY RAFFLE – ALL ARE WELCOME – COME TO THE WEST PAWLET FIREHOUSE AND JOIN THE FUN – FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20th at 7:00 p.m.. (The doors will open at 6:00 p.m.) , By Janice B. Edwards, Freelance Writer

The Annual West Pawlet Volunteer Fire Department Turkey Raffle event is coming up Friday, November 20th at 7:00 p.m. at the West Pawlet firehouse. (The doors will open at 6:00 p.m.) Come and learn how to purchase a playing card to participate. Playing cards are 50 cents each or 3 cards for $1.00. The cards will enable 27 lucky winners to each win a turkey with a bag of potatoes. Take a chance – come join the fun! All are welcome and encouraged to attend. Refreshments – hot dogs, chips, coffee, donuts, soda and water, will be available.

Additionally, tickets are also currently on sale by the fire department for four Grand Prizes which are being raffled by the department. The Grand Prizes include:
1st – Remington 30-06 Model 7600 Pump Rifle (or $400 cash)
2nd – Binoculars
3rd - $100 cash
4th – Turkey Meal with Fixin’s.

Raffle tickets for the Grand Prizes are $1.00 each and 8 for $5.00. Get your tickets soon for a chance to win these great Grand Prizes. The Grand Prize winners will be announced November 21st at the Turkey Raffle event. One does not need to be present at the Turkey Raffle to win a Grand Prize.

Ticket proceeds are for support of the fire department’s equipment and training needs. The West Pawlet Volunteer Fire Department is a designated 501(c) (3) non-profit with I.R.S. Tax-deductible donations are greatly appreciated. New members are always welcome.
