We’ve been making good progress on the effort to reopen the Great White Way in the Hogback Mountain Conservation Area in order to stimulate early successional habitat, the young growth needed by birds and other wildlife. Work Party #4 will be on Saturday morning, Oct 24, from 9 to noon. If you can wield loppers, haul brush, or run a chain saw, we need you! One of the side benefits of this project to increase habitat diversity is that some great views are being opened up. Come and take a look!
